What time do we gather?
We gather on Sundays at 10:30 am.
How do I get there?
We meet at Elliott Elementary School, located at 18415 Cortner Ave in Artesia, CA, in the Multi-Purpose Room. Parking is available on-site at the parking lot on the corner of Cortner Ave & 185th St, and you can also park on Cortner Ave. You can enter either through the fence door by the parking lot, or the fence gate near the flag pole. We hope to see you!
What should I do with my kids?
Our kids join their parents/caregivers during the beginning of service to worship with singing. When the kids are dismissed, you can walk your kids to the classrooms and check them in at the table. We have the following programming available --
Sandcastles: Toddlers (ages 2-3)
River Rangers: Pre-kinder to 6th grade
Our children are very valuable to us, and it is our highest priority to ensure their well-being and security. To ensure your child’s safety, children will ONLY be released to the pre-assigned parent/caregiver.
For the protection of all children, please do not bring your child to class if they exhibit any of the following:
fever, vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours
any unexplained rash
cloudy or green runny nose
persistent cough
symptoms of common childhood illnesses: chicken pox, strep throat, pinkeye, etc.
exposure to or current Covid-19 infection
Note:
We believe parents and primary caregivers are responsible for the spiritual nurturing of their children, and our goal is to partner with parents in providing a solid spiritual foundation upon which to train up the children in the ways of the Lord. River City Church’s vision is to be a Gospel-centered, Spirit-empowered family on mission, and we believe our children have a significant role to play within our mission!

What To Expect
A typical service will last about 90 minutes. We worship God through songs and read/study His Word together, eagerly and expectantly every Sunday.
We encourage you to hang around after service to stop by the Welcoming table. We would love to connect with you!
